How does Lowest Price Watch work?
Lowest Price Watch is an online
shopping portal based on price guarantees. All of the
stores listed on the homepage of Lowest
Price Watch offer low price guarantees. That is to
say, they will give you a refund on an item that you bought
at their store, if you can find a lower price at another
store.
With Lowest Price Watch, though, you
don't have to search for lower prices. We will do
the searching for
FREE for you - immediately after your purchase and up
to 60 days after that. Just shop at any of the online
stores listed on Lowest Price Watch, and,
when you checkout, a small window will pop up and ask for
your email. This window will also ask for the part
number and price, which we need to search for lower prices
for you. If we find a lower price we will email you
instructions on how to receive your price guarantee refund.
How does the Double Guarantee work?
If you find a price lower than the
price that Lowest Price Watch finds for your purchase, and
meets the requirements of the merchant's price guarantee, we
will give you a refund for the difference. Just email
us with the web address of the lower price and we will
deposit the difference into your Paypal account. At
this time Lowest Price Watch is only fulfilling this
guarantee through Paypal.
What do I have to do to get a
refund?
Not much. Pick one of the
listed merchants, and then shop as you normally would.
At checkout, click the link in the Lowest Price Watch frame
above the merchant's site and enter the items you bought and
their price. If the merchant that you chose to shop at
does not have the lowest price, you will receive an email
from us alerting you to a lower price. In that email,
just click on the link and fill in the merchant's price
match form with the information that you get from us in the
email. You should receive your refund within a week.
How soon do I receive my refunds?
Most merchants with low price
guarantees will refund the price difference within a week.
Where does the refund come
from, anyway?
Our select group of merchants have
low price guarantees that give you the confidence that you
are receiving the lowest price. If they do not have
the lowest price we will alert you, and the merchant will
refund the difference between what you paid and the lowest
price.
How can Lowest Price Watch offer this
service for free?
Lowest Price Watch is dedicated to
providing our members with the lowest possible prices!
We derive our income primarily from marketing partnerships
with our merchants and advertising opportunities.
Do all purchases come with a price
guarantee?
Virtually every item you purchase
through a Lowest Price Watch PG merchant comes with a price
guarantee. There are some items however, that are not
included in the merchants' price guarantees. Check the
merchant's guarantee by clicking on the "PG"
underneath their logos for the details of their guarantees.
Will I be able to receive the LPW
Alert on all purchases I make at any Lowest Price Watch
merchant?
Yes, if you start at Lowest Price
Watch every time you shop there. If you do not click
through Lowest Price Watch prior to entering the merchant
site, the frame that allows you to open the Item/Price
submission form will not appear. The Lowest Price
Watch frame must appear so you can click to enter your
purchase information.
What if I want to return or cancel
an order?
Returns are subject to the return
policy of the merchant from whom you purchased. If you
return or cancel an item, the merchant will only return the
price you paid for that item, of course.
Can I use Lowest Price Watch if I
live outside the U.S. and Canada?
Yes, as long as the merchant you
are purchasing from will ship outside of the U.S. and
Canada.
What if Lowest Price Watch doesn't
offer the store I want?
We are working daily to ensure our
members will enjoy a variety of goods and services from
quality merchants. If we do not have your favorite
store, or if you would like to recommend a store to us,
simply email service@LowestPriceWatch.com.
Remember that all merchants listed on our main page must
have low price guarantees.
How safe is my credit card info?
Credit card security is of the
utmost importance to us. All merchant transactions use
the ultra safe SSL technology.
Are my transactions secure when going
through Lowest Price Watch?
Always. When you check out at
any of our merchants, you are on the safest possible
connection, a Secure Socket Layer (SSL).
If my transaction is secure, why don't
I see the "padlock" icon in my browser?
Since our merchant pages are in the
Lowest Price Watch frame, the "padlock" icon may
not appear or may appear unlocked at the bottom of your
browser. Rest assured that all transactions through
Lowest Price Watch are secure.
Will I start receiving "spam" if
I join?
No. We will not sell your
information to any third party. We do send our own
members information related to savings and special offers as
they become available, but you may unsubscribe from our
email lists at any time.
Will Lowest Price Watch sell
information about me or my purchase habits?
No. Period.
What are "cookies" and how do
I enable them?
Cookies are simply text files that
allow a site to recognize you when you return. Cookies
must be enabled on your browser to use the Lowest Price
Watch price guarantee alert. This is so we may verify
your purchase with the merchant. Click

What if the Lowest Price Watch frame at
the top of the page disappears?
Some of our merchants incorporate
technology in their websites that cause the Lowest Price
Watch frame, from which you activate the Item/Price
submission form, to disappear. If this happens just
back up one page (by pressing the back button on your
browser), click the Item/Price submission link (circled in
red below) before the frame disappears. The window
will remain open until you get to the checkout page at which
time you can enter your purchase information.

What are the different types of Price
Guarantees?
Price guarantees are called by many
different names - price guarantees, price match, price
protection, etc. Each guarantee may also have
different conditions. The two main conditions are
listed here:
- The type of merchants whose prices qualify for price
matching. These are the merchants that the
original merchant says you can match prices
against. This condition is usually one of three
types: all merchants, merchants
authorized by the manufacturer, or merchants
included in a list on the price guarantee page of the
original merchant. The more merchants that qualify
for price matching the better.
- The amount of time after a purchase that the
guarantee remains in effect. Most guarantees fall
within the 3 - 60 day range; the longer the better.
